Background

Growing up in the late 1940s, the boy who would become Dudeman was out surfing one day when he came across a strange surfboard. Never one to look a gift horse in the mouth, he picked it up… and it promptly bonded with him, granting him all of its powers. It was a fallen remnant, contained the energy of an intergalactic superhero, and Dudeman was born.

Through the 1960s and 70s, Dudeman grew to fame for his cool demeanor and immense skill. After the New York disaster, he helped to found and organize the S.E.A., before leaving the organization for unknown reasons in 1994. Dudeman rejoined the agency in 2006, taking charge once again in order to combat the growing menace of the Antiheroes.

Personality

Publically, Dudeman is laid-back, groovy, and a walking anachronism, a surfer dude the way that people remember them. In private, he is harsh and judgemental. He makes opinions and keeps them, and he doesn't like the way the world is going. However, he is loyal and dedicated, and one of the best heroes in the world today.

Trivia

  • Dudeman was ranked #1 Hero in America by People magazine in 2006.
